The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show is an International 4 Day Show, using all three buildings at the Las Vegas Convention Center with exhibitors from around the world and an attendance of 100,000 industry people (the public is not allowed in the show). From the big world-wide tire companies, to American camshaft companies; and huge tool companies that we have known for so many years, to small startup companies like us – our first time with a booth at the SEMA Show – and hundreds of other exhibitors.

So there it was, out of over 2,000 entries for Best New Product, in 15 categories, and with major companies all around us, we won 1st Place – Best New Product – Tools and Equipment.

Also, we won an International Global Media Award from international publications on the SEMA board for 1st Place – Best New Product – Tools and Equipment.

It hits us often that a small company from San Pedro, Ca. was so fortunate. We never compromised on the quality of any of the components, the design factors in the electronics, or in any other part of our total product. I guess that’s why we won. The thing was built right and it works. Every time.

 

“Our experience at the 2010 SEMA Show was one of grateful amazement.
First, that SEMA would allow a small ‘garage-sized’ company with no
automotive history to exhibit, and that we could enter the New Products
Awards Program (wherein we stumped the wizards ans won first place for
Best New Product – Tools and Equipment), also as an unknown. The amount
of business we generated at our booth far exceeded our hopes by a
trainload, and there was so much action that we had to shut down the
‘To Order’ part of our website. Our booth was swamped from 9:00
a.m.–5:00 p.m. when the lights went out, and only on Friday did it slow
down by any discernible amount. If I were to make an observation of the
Show, it would be that big or small, everyone is welcome, because ‘you
are what you drive’ at SEMA.”
